I've decided against posting the rest of my Project365 on this blog, as I am lazy and it is too much effort. I'm not giving up on the Project, though! All of the photos can still be viewed on the Project365 DeviantART Gallery, which can be found here: HERE! You can also view my other photography and follow my account from my DeviantART profile, found here: here.
Good times.

Day Three: January 3rd, 2010
I hadn't any inspiration for my third shot; I was planning on just doing a standard macro shot of something interesting on my desk. Then I looked out my window and saw the bright orange sun appearing from below the clouds. I grabbed my camera and jumped up onto the roof, which turned out to be a poor vantage point, as the sun was hidden behind trees. I jumped back down and proceeded to run up the road, which is where I shot this from.
I wasn't able to get the tripod and it would have taken too long to set up: 30 seconds after this shot the sun had disappeared behind the mountain range.
Only 361 days, 10 hours, 9 minutes and 58 seconds to go,
Nick.

Day Two: January 2nd, 2010
There is the second of my 365 photos.
This one is the orange half of a cut-out ying-yang (who would have guessed?). It was part of the stop-motion music video I am making to a Sigur Ros song; I have completed the first 24 seconds, and the current photo-count 152 shots. I hope to have that finished by the end of January.
I also have a count down to the 1st of January, 2011, which will mark the end of Project365. It is is currently on 362 days, 10 hours, 1 minute and 8 seconds. Not long now!
I will have today's photo (Day Three), up tomorrow,
Nick.
Day One: January 1st, 2010
"It's New Year's," I thought to myself, "I can photograph the local fireworks! What an excellent way to start my project." Then a friend invited me to a NYE party, quite a way away from the fireworks. "Ah well," I thought, "we'll be up all night, so I'll just photograph the sunrise down at the beach." Then , once I arrived at the party, I discovered that I had left my camera battery in it's charger, at home. "Damnit."
So, January 1st came, up went the sun (with me noticing all the wonderful photo opportunities I couldn't take advantage of), and then I went home and slept. Then I went to work and worked. Then I realised it was 11:28 pm and I and still hadn't taken a photo. So, off I went trying to find a photo. I eventually decided on the one you see above: a collection of left over, worn out glow sticks; I felt they pretty much summed up the day.
Only 364 to go,
Nick.

Project365 has begun!
I realised, yesterday (January 1st, 2010), at exactly 11:28pm, that I hadn't yet taken my first photo for this long-winded project. So, off I went, quickly preparing a photo which was far from how I imagined my first shot to be. I will be posting it in approximately 6 hours.
Anyway, this is just a welcome to my two current followers, and any who may join in the near future. The blog doesn't look very pretty at the moment, but I have Photoshop open and that will change soon enough. All my photos will be uploaded to DeviantArt, and then I will post them here. Each photo should (hopefully) be uploaded the day after it was taken (ie. The photo from Day One [yesterday] will be uploaded today, and today's photo [Day Two], will be posted tomorrow).
I have to rush off to work now, so goodbye for now,
Nick.
